German translation services

As a translation agency run and managed by professional translators, we only work with the most professional and highly qualified German translators and interpreters. Language Professionals is a well-established agency based in Sydney who has been providing German translation services and interpreting services all around Australia since 1998. We have native speaking German project managers and a pool of experienced accredited translators who cover a wide range of industry specialisations.

Managing Director Max Doerfler has been involved in the language industry for over 30 years and has in-depth knowledge of the translation and interpreting profession in Australia. He is a German translator accredited by NAATI (the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters in Australia), and a German interpreter and member of the AIIC (the International Association of Conference Interpreters), the only international association of professional conference interpreters. Max is a former Chairman, member examiner and German language panel member of the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) and was also a founding member and former Chairman of the NSW branch of AUSIT (Australian Institute of Interpreters & Translators).

Conference Interpreting Services Manager Bertold Schmitt is a professional conference interpreter (NAATI Senior level, AIIC) and a member of the global Calliope network of Consultant Interpreters. In addition to having worked at many events hosted by agencies of the United Nations and private sector organisations, he has also accumulated the experience of over 30 Codex Committee meetings and FAO Conferences in the last 10 years.

Language Services Operations Manager Christiane Lutze holds a University diploma in translation from University of Dusseldorf for the German, English and French languages. Christiane is responsible for the day-to-day managing of our German translation and interpreting services.
